MUNA share pulsing new floor-filler ‘Wannabeher’

MUNA have upped the ante as ‘Dancing On The Wall’’s release date approaches with new single ‘Wannabeher’ - an instant earworm that explores the “gay canon event” of questioning the nature of your attraction to someone. 

It’s the third track proper to be lifted from the trio’s incoming fourth studio album - which arrives on 8th May via Phoebe Bridgers’ label Saddest Factory Records - following its sweat-soaked title track and yearning follow up ‘So What’. (Album cut ‘Big Stick’ also landed recently, released exclusively via Bandcamp to raise money for Gazan charity Pal Humanity).

“This song is our version of Bikini Kill’s ‘Rebel Girl’,” MUNA have noted of ‘Wannabeher’, explaining that “it’s about the experience of really admiring someone and feeling confused about whether you want to be them or be with them or both.”
