The first wave of music for The Big Festival - billed as ‘a festival with a heart’, as proceeds go to the Prince’s Trust and Jamie Oliver Foundation - has been announced this morning.
The Clapham Common event will take place from 1st - 3rd July hosting sets from the likes of New Young Pony Club, The Charlatans, Mystery Jets and Kurran & The Wolfnotes.
Jamie Oliver coments: ‘The Big Feastival is something unique that we’ve wanted to try for a while. A really good festival for everyone with great music AND great food, all for charity. You can buy a music ticket to see the bands, and just enjoy all the extra free entertainment too. But the really great deal is the music and food standard ticket, with five meals from any of our fantastic restaurants included too - and I don’t just mean little mouthfuls, I mean good portions.’
