Nicolar Jaar’s Darkside Project Premiere Album In New York

Lucky New Yorkers got to hear the first play of Jaar and Dave Harrington’s new album, last night.

Darkside, the project of Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington, have an album ready and due for release before the end of 2013.

Last night, said album premiered in New York. Gaining its first airing on 99 Attorney St., Manhattan, 7.30pm, attendees had to ‘bring blankets’ for the event. It was likely played to only a select few eagle-eyed Twitter followers.

The two last combined on the ‘Daftside’ project, which involved remixing the entirety of Daft Punk’s ‘Random Access Memories’, in a record title ‘Random Access Memories Memories’. Yep.

This new album’s likely to be a little more serious. Catch up with Darkside’s ‘A1’ below.
