Nicolas Jaar has score Jacques Audiard’s new film ‘Dheepan’

Nicolas Jaar has confirmed that he has scored the upcoming new film by ‘A Prophet’ and ‘Rust and Bone’ director Jacques Audiard.

The film, titled ‘Dheepan’, will premiere at Cannes Film Festival this month, with Jaar taking to Twitter to verify earlier reports this week that had leaked. “It was an honour to work with Jacques Adiard on his new film, thank you for the opportunity Jacques!” says Jaar.

Set to compete for the Palme d’Or at Cannes, the film is a drama partly inspired by Montesquieu’s ‘Persian Letters’. Earlier this week, Nicolas Jaar shared a new EP titled ‘Nymphs II’, his first solo work in almost four years.
