Nicolas Jaar Joins Dimensions Line Up
He’ll be joining the likes of Little Dragon, Four Tet, Mount Kimbie, Gold Panda and Portico Quartet.
Dimensions Festival has made its final artist announcement, adding Nicolas Jaar to the bill.
He’ll be joining the likes of Little Dragon, Four Tet, Mount Kimbie, Gold Panda and Portico Quartet.
The event will take place from 6th - 9th September at Pula in Croatia. For more information, visit dimensionsfestival.com.
Jaar recently revealed that he’s started work on two new records to follow on from ‘Space is Only Noise’. His next album should be out in 2013, while he’s also working on side project Darkness.
“My passion for music makes me think it’s sacred,’ he told The Guardian. ‘In the creation aspect, it’s very important, to me, to say this is sacred. But the reality is that music is a bastard child of our economy. That’s what’s difficult about being a musician today. How do you give [your music to] someone in a world that is not sacred? That’s the crux of it.”
