Nicolas Jaar’s new album ‘Sirens’ is out NEXT WEEK
After teasing all sorts of gubbins, he’s confirmed a September 30th release for his first proper solo album in five years.
He’s not hanging about anymore - Nicolas Jaar’s announced that his new album ‘Sirens’ is out on September 30th. Yup, as in next week.
After all sorts of teases - from launching his mysterious ‘Other People’ network, to hosting a twelve hour residency on NTS Radio - he’s finally confirmed the release of his new record. It’ll be the first proper solo album since 2011’s ‘Space Is Only Noise’, and follows last year’s soundtrack ‘Pomegranates’, an alternative audio to Sergei Parajanov’s The Colour of Pomegranates film.
The record comes with not one, not two, not three, but (wait for it) four covers, which you can view below, along with the tracklisting for the album. He heads out on tour very soon indeed, too. Busy lad.
‘Sirens’ tracklisting:
1. Killing Time
2. The Governor
3. Leaves
4. No
5. Three Sides of Nazareth
6. History Lesson
