Nicolas Jaar shares new song ‘Fight (Nymphs IV)’

Nicolas Jaar’s been a busy man. Since Darkside disbanded, the producer has released an alternative soundtrack to Sergei Parajanov’s avant garde film ‘Pomegranates’,and ploughed on relentlessly with his ‘Nymphs’ EPs. Today Jaar’s shared new track ‘Fight,’ from the series.

It took the producer four years to follow up the first in the ‘Nymphs’ series with ‘Nymphs II’ back in May, but since then he’s been on a roll. ‘Nymphs III’ followed less than two months later, and now Jaar is well into the fourth installment.

Out on R&S Records now, ‘Fight’ mutates over eight minutes, eventually growing into an unstoppable, glitching, haze. He wrote the track in the winter of 2015, in New York. Listen below.
