Nils Frahm shares new ‘Wall’ track, announces a Piano Day
A celebration of the keyed instrument will take place on 29th March.
Nils Frahm has shared a new track entitled ‘Wall’, as well as launching a new event called Piano Day, intended to be a celebration of the instrument Frahm masters.
Speaking of the day, Frahm said in an announcement: “I always dreamt of inventing my own holiday and I always felt the piano is worth celebrating, so on this special day I will have a surprise waiting for you”.
‘Wall’ is a shuddering take which showcases the colossal, frightening end of the piano’s capabilities. It’s Frahm’s first new material since 2013 live album ‘Spaces’.
