Orla Gartland releases surprise new track ‘Now What?’
The Dublin artist and producer has debuted the new single as a Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1.
Orla Gartland has released a surprise new track titled ‘Now What?’. The Dublin artist debuted the new single as a Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, while sharing the news that the song will feature on the forthcoming extended edition of Gartland’s second album, ‘Everybody Needs A Hero’.
“I started this year with a strong feeling that I had more to say,” said Gartland on the new single. “Last year I experienced some big life changes; I felt more unravelled & pensive than any other time in my adult life. ‘Now What?’ explores the vast unknown we face after a breakup and how our feelings morph and change over time,” she adds.
‘Everybody Needs A Hero’ was released last October via Gartland’s own label, New Friends. The record features some of her most beloved tracks including ‘Little Chaos’, ‘Late To The Party feat. Declan McKenna’ and ‘Backseat Driver’.
The new track drops just before the musician embarks on a summer of live dates, including a performance at Glastonbury festival and a support tour across North America with Glass Animals.
