Outfit announce second album plans, intimate UK dates

Liverpool group are wasting no time in following excellent 2013 debut ‘Performance’.

One year on from the release of their debut album, Liverpool group Outfit are set to preview new material at forthcoming shows in London and Manchester.

Following up ‘Performance’ (released on Double Denim), a second album is tentatively due out in early 2015. Future material is being described as “new pieces,” which sounds fancy, but presumably it’s a batch of new tracks.

Intimate dates take place on 5th October at London’s Waiting Room and 7th October at Manchester Gullivers.

New material is being recorded in Lathbury House, Liverpool, the now semi-famed source of the group’s formation, where goodness knows how many artists are allowed to take up residence there.

The second record is being described as painting a “vivid and vast emotional landscape, at once hollow and cold, yet brimming with love and hope.”

Tickets are available now for London and Manchester.

For now, catch up with ‘I Want What’s Best’ from the 2013 debut.
