Palma Violets Announce Album Title, Tracklisting & Artwork
The record will be called ‘180’, and released on 25th February.

Palma Violets announced they’d be releasing their debut album in February all the way back in November. Now, after having been unveiled as one of the BBC’s Sound of 2013 longlist, and, of course find themselves as one of our current cover stars, they’ve decided to give us the rest of the all-important information.
The album will be called ‘180’ - after the Lambeth house the band host parties at, and will feature eleven tracks - including double A-side single tracks ‘Best of Friends’, and ‘Last of the Summer Wine’.
The tracklisting is:
1. Best of Friends
2. Step Up for the Cool Cats
3. All the Garden Birds
4. Rattlesnake Highway
5. Chicken Dippers
6. Last of the Summer Wine
7. Tom the Drum
8. Johnny Bagga’ Donuts
9. I Found Love
10. Three Stars
11. 14
And the cover will look like this:
The album will, of course, be released on 25th February, and was produced by Steve Mackey at RAK Studios in London. The release will follow the band’s appearance on the NME Awards Tour alongside fellow DIY cover stars Peace, plus Mercury nominees Django Django, and Miles Kane.
