Palma Violets debut new single, ‘English Tongue’
Hear the latest take from ‘Danger in the Club’.
That dancefloor’s hotting up - Palma Violets have unveiled ‘English Tongue’, the second track to emerge from new album ‘Danger in the Club’.
With the follow-up to 180’ due out 4th May via Rough Trade, ‘English Tongue’ sees the group not so much reverting to their trademark sound as giving it a new twist. Operating in a different zone to the record’s title-track, it’s a chant-centric, festival-ready blast of shambolic rock ’n roll.
The track gained its first play as a Hottest Record on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show. Listen below.
‘Danger in the Club’ was recorded with John Leckie at Wales’ Rockfield Studio. Check out the tracklist above the player.
