Palma Violets get rowdy in Norwich for the Stand For Something Tour
The second show of the Dr. Martens Stand For Something Tour proves to be a bit of a ruckus.
Having already kicked off the Dr. Martens Stand For Something Tour up in Glasgow just a few weeks ago, it’s safe to say that the bar has been set high. But, if the reputation of tonight’s headliners is anything to go by, this evening is going to be a whole different kind of show.
Even as tonight’s opening act - Bournemouth-based The New Thieves - take to the stage at The Owl Sanctuary, things are already a bit of a squeeze. Instantly, there’s a buzz in the air surrounding the show, complete with the promise that tonight is going to get rowdy.
Next up, Best Friends offer up their second performance of the day - following their brilliant instore set earlier in the evening - but this time, there’s even more dancing, singing and crowdsurfing on the bill. Movement ripples through the crowd giddily and proceedings get that little bit more boisterous. Tracks like ‘Happy Anniversary’ see the audience getting riled up in the best way possible and it’s not long until frontman Lewis Sharman decides to dive in and have a go himself, providing the perfect introduction for what’s to come.
