PARTYBABY unleash ‘Your Old Man’ video
Thrashing second cut has a frivolous video to match.
We’re big PARTYBABY fans here - that’s no secret. Their debut track ‘Everything’s All Right’ blew the cobwebs off a new music sphere obsessed with navel-gazing, and when they followed that up with ‘Your Old Man’, a beautiful cacophony of smart-as-hell punk rock anthemia, we knew they were onto something truly special. Now, that second cut has a video to boot.
Pairing the thrashing stop-start waltz of the track with a series of blurry clips of youthful frivolity (and both an #indiedog and #indiecat), it combines the band’s exuberance with exactly the kind of disenfranchised young crowd that’ll no-doubt latch themselves onto this lot. Watch it below, along with a hand-written letter from the band.
PARTYBABY’s first interview is in DIY’s December/January issue, as they plant their flag as one of next year’s most exciting prospects as part of our Class Of 2016 - pre-order a copy of that here.
