Paul Smith and Peter Brewis announce collaborative album, ‘Frozen By Sight’
Field Music and Maxïmo Park head honchos are joining forces for a November release.
Just like that, two celebrated musicians - Paul Smith and Peter Brewis - have announced plans to release their first collaboration album.
‘Frozen By Sight’ sees Brewis (from Field Music) and Smith (Maxïmo Park) joining forces for the first time on a full-length. The record’s out 17th November on Memphis Industries.
The record’s being led by ‘Barcelona (at Eye Level)’, a beat-less, sparse number led by twinkling piano and musings on “postmodern pathways transporting people over the marina.” Sounds fancy, it is, and it’s a big departure for both involved given their respective projects.

Exiting Hyde Park Towers
