Peter Doherty unveils video for Amy Winehouse tribute, ‘Flags of the Old Regime’
One-off single is being released in aid of the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Peter Doherty has unveiled the video for ‘Flags of the Old Regime’, his touching tribute to late friend Amy Winehouse.
The one-off single is being released on 9th March via Walk Tall Recordings, with proceeds from the track going towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The track was produced by Stephen Street and it features Babyshambles’ Drew McConnell.
Doherty’s new video places him in a smoky black-and-white setting, with nothing but a typewriter for company.
The Libertines man is currently at work on his band’s new album, after finishing rehabilitation in Thailand. He’s also the subject of a statue in London, which shows him being crucified - about that…
