Pip Blom return with new single ‘Tiger’

Amsterdam quartet Pip Blom have returned with the video for their new single ‘Tiger’. It is the first taste of the band’s forthcoming third studio album, which they have been recording with producer Dave McCracken (Ian Brown, Sports Team), and it sees the band embracing synths and electronica more than ever before. Talking about the song, the band have said: “It’s my favourite song off the album, and quite different to what we’ve done before. I don’t want to sound arrogant, and I find these things quite difficult to say about my own tracks, but it’s quite an earworm!” “It’s good to surprise people with a new sound, and though it still sounds like a Pip Blom track because it has my voice on it and the melodies I tend to write, it feels like it’s from a different source. I wanted to be bold and do something new.” The new album will be their first since 2021’s ‘Welcome Break’. Their debut album ‘Boat’ was released it 2019. Pip Blom will also be announcing some UK shows “shortly”, to coincide with the new album.
