POND get surreal in the video for ‘Colder Than Ice’

It’s been a couple of months now since Aussie wonders POND released their latest, slick album ‘The Weather’.

Since then, they’ve been busy touring and a little more recently rounded off a residency at London’s Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club. For the rest of the year they’re set to continue touring (around their native Australia, Asia and across the States) but in anticipation of all that they’ve released a, well, quite bizarre video for ‘Colder Than Ice’.

Not that we’d expect anything less from POND after the ‘Paint Me Silver’ clip featured some very uncanny dancing alien-robot hybrids. This time POND themselves are taking us down the rabbit hole with a bit of help from George Foster. It features Kirin J. Callinan as a dancing cowboy and a lot of very hypnotising effects. At this point, does any more need to be said? Just watch and absorb its glory.
