POND offer up new track ‘Sitting Up On Our Crane’
The track gets taken from their forthcoming album ‘Man It Feels Like Space Again’.
Pond have shared a new track that gets taken from their forthcoming album ‘Man It Feels Like Space Again’. ‘Sitting Up On Our Crane’ follows on from the recently-revealed recent tracks ‘Waiting Around for Grace’ and ‘Elvis Flaming Star’.
The track comes accompanied by a computer-generated video, in which a figure goes on a lucid trip, observing the world on a crane. Unsurprisingly, it’s based on the band sitting on cranes when they were younger: “We’d sit at the top and I’d always be afraid that we were gonna fall off, kill ourselves.” says Jay Watson.
Like its video, ‘Sitting Up On Our Crane’ is an atmospheric and psychedelic cut from the Tame Impala offshoot, with the band describing the track as “an anxiety power ballad.”
