Weather with you:
POND have shared new track ‘The Weather’
It’s the cosmic title and closing number from their upcoming new album.
With the impending release of their new album ‘The Weather’
in May, Aussies POND have shared the album’s title track!
‘The Weather’ is also the closing track on the upcoming
record, and it’s already a doozy of a way to round off an LP. Following on from
the call-and-response based ‘30000 Megatons,’ it’s a cosmic, almost romantic
little number that’s filled with distorted vocals, and soars with sonorous
bursts of psychedelic guitars. The new album is set to see the band plant
themselves in the here and now lyrically (a contrast to their previous records,
where their themes have been more obscured). Fittingly, ‘The Weather’ is also
one of their most immediate tracks to date.
From April, POND will be taking ‘The Weather’ with them
around North America, before they head off on a UK tour in June.

dates below.
