Premiere: Listen: Home School Stream ‘She’ll Move On’ Track
Brighton-based project lend an angst-ridden track to a new Beech Coma compilation also featuring Tuff Love and BAYY.

Earlier this week we picked out a track from Paeris Giles’ solo project, ‘Better’. The song forms part of a Beech Coma compilation, ‘Vol. 1’, which also features BAYY, Tuff Love and a new song from Home School, ‘She’ll Move On’.
Home School first reared their heads with the breezy-sounding but outstandingly angsty ‘Scream’. Initially Brighton musician Jack Kaye’s side project from The Magic Gang, it’s since welcomed in a full-band, with ‘She’ll Move On’ emphasising expansiveness from the off. Staying resolute to a simple quality of songwriting by way of Mac DeMarco and Real Estate, romance and nostalgia dig claws into the track. Vocals begin easeful before morphing into a barking, splintering cry. Again, there’s a clever balance between a lazy-day quality and old-fashioned frustration.
Beech Coma ‘Vol. 1’ comes out 14th April, pre-order here.
