Premiere: Watch: We Are The Ocean Perform ‘Runaway’ Live
Recorded at Peter Mile’s Middle Farm Studios in Devon, the band have given us the first look at their live cut of ‘Runaway’.
It may well’ve been a year since We Are The Ocean released their third album ‘Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow’ but they’ve still got some special things in store.
The band are now set to re-release the album next month, alongside a series of its original tracks re-recorded live with some help from album producer Peter Miles.
Put together at Peter’s Middle Farm Studios in Devon, the band have given us the first look at a video of their live cut of ‘Runaway’, along with a bit of an extra insight into the song, too.
”Runaway’ was one of the first songs we recorded for ‘Go Now And Live’ and it’s also a favourite of mine from that album. To go back, record and play it again under the same roof, but this time with added instrumentation, an organ and backing vocals was a lot of fun. The whole experience brought back some good memories and I hope all of our fans will enjoy it!’
Check out the clip below.
The band are set to release the deluxe edition of ‘Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow’ on 14th October through Hassle Records.
