Pulp have been trawling online cover versions of their songs, and they’ve decided to offer a prize to the best video as voted for by fans.
‘During the process of learning to play the old songs again we have been consulting the versions posted by various persons on the internet. Very educational! So we thought we’d share some of our favourites with you,’ the band say.
‘View them online at pulppeople.com and vote for YOUR favourites - or upload your own renditions if you think you could do better. Please get involved. It will be fun. We’re offering a musical prize to the winner (if we can find them out in cyberspace).’
There don’t look to be any ‘likes’ at all so far, but you can have a click around - and submit your own clips - via pulppeople.com.
The live shows mentioned will kick off next month at Primavera Sound. Click here for more UK dates, and tickets.
