Pumarosa storm ahead with ‘Honey’
They’ve also shared a snippet of another new song called ‘Sinking Heart’.
Bloody hell, Pumarosa have only gone and done it again; they’ve released another block of solid gold. ‘Honey’ is their first release since signing to Fiction Records, and it’s suitably triumphant, colliding chiming, glitter-woven melodies with Isabel Muñoz-Newsome’s underworld-summoning chants. “I want to believe it,” she yearns, over and over.
Already a live staple, ‘Honey’ sees the light of day in recorded form with an added goodie to boot. Pumarosa have also shared another demo, ‘Sinking Heart’ alongside it. Treading with one foot into the delicate electronica of ‘Kid A,’ it appears to be a b-side to ‘Honey’.
Pumarosa have also announced a UK tour - catch them in the following places:
OCT
20 Brighton, Green Door Store
21 Wales, SWN Festival
22 Manchester, White Hotel
23 Leeds, Belgrave Music Hall
24 London, Village Underground
27 Bristol, Louisiana
31 Dublin, Whelans
Listen to both ‘Honey’ and ‘Sinking Heart’ below.
