Pusha T talks new album: “The sound will be second to none”
Rapper recently put out his ‘Lunch Money’ single.
Pusha T has further discussed his second upcoming album, ‘King Push’, which is due out in 2015.
The follow-up to 2013’s Kanye West-produced ‘My Name Is My Name’ is been worked on “constantly,” says the Virginia rapper, speaking to Rolling Stone.
“I’m working on it feverishly,” he told Simon Vozick-Levinson. “It’s amazing. I feel like the sound will be second to none. And of course you already know the raps will be smacking people all left and right.”
The record’s been given a tentative release date of spring 2015, with Kanye again at the production helm. “I feel like people don’t know where the hell I’m going to go on the next record. And that’s where I want them to be,” he added.
Last month Pusha T unveiled a taster from the record in ‘Lunch Money’, which landed a new video just last week. The track was dropped “to show how far out me and ‘Ye are going to go, just sonically,” said Pusha T.
