Rat Boy has a new video for ‘Laidback’

With his new album ‘Scum’ on the horizon, Jordan Cardy – better known as Rat Boy – recently released his latest track ‘Laidback’, which features contributions from Blur’s Graham Coxon!

Speaking of the tune, Jordan said: “I think people will be surprised when they hear ‘Laidback’ as it’s a love song […] We’re usually going mental on stage, so it’s good to calm down for a second when we play it and it goes down really well”.

Well, some of the laid back vibes are present on the new video, as Rat Boy and his band go for a bike ride and have a little bit of a gig in the country. That makes it sound idyllic doesn’t it? It’s actually shot outside an abandoned caravan that eventually gets set on fire.
