Ratatat debut new single, ‘Cream on Chrome’

Experimental duo Ratatat have unveiled their first new material in just under five years with the ‘Cream on Chrome’ single.

Taken from a forthcoming fifth LP on XL Recordings, Evan Mast and Mike Stroud’s latest adds a funk twist to their spiralling production and signature, sky-reaching guitar parts.

The song gained its first live outing at this year’s Coachella festival - watch that below the official stream. They also played ‘Pricks of Brightness’ and ‘Abrasive’ for the first time.

Ratatat’s last album was 2010’s ‘LP4’. They’re set to play New York Governors Ball (5th-7th June), as well as a run of April & May shows - they’re playing Paris’ Parc De Bagatelle on 30th and 31st May. See their full schedule here.
