Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea To Release Memoirs
Michael Balzary is set to put his tumultuous creative journey” into publication, without the assistance of a ghostwriter.”

Becoming the second member of Red Hot Chili Peppers to release memoirs (Anthony Kiedis’ 2004 autobiography ‘Scar Tissue’ was a bestseller), bassist Michael Balzary aka Flea has announced plans to release his own memoirs.
Flea’s going the whole hog without a ghostwriter, and he’s promising to document ‘his intense and dynamic life.’
Documenting his upbringing in the suburbs of New York, the memoirs will focus on ‘the tumultuous creative journey of the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers through its various incarnations over the last 30 years.”
The memoirs don’t have a release date just yet, but they’re set to be released in the US through Grand Central Publishing.
