Red Hot Chili Peppers To Release ‘Classic Covers’ EP

‘We Salute You’ will be released digitally on the 1st May through Warner Bros Records.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced plans to release a ‘classic covers’ EP that includes their own reworkings of Neil Young, David Bowie and The Beach Boys.

The ‘We Salute You’ EP looks set to celebrate the band’s recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and features six tracks, three of which have been recorded live.

1. A Teenager in Love (Dion and the Belmonts)
2. Havana Affair (Ramones)
3. Search & Destroy (Iggy and the Stooges)
4. Everybody Knows This is Nowhere (Neil Young) [live]
5. I Get Around (The Beach Boys) [live]
6. Suffragette City (David Bowie) [live]

‘We Sale You’ will be released digitally on the 1st May through Warner Bros Records.

Red Hot Chili Peppers will also make several live appearances in the UK this summer. Go see them at:

JUNE
23 Knebworth Park, Stevenage
24 The Stadium of Light, Sunderland

The Wombats will support at both shows, with Dizzee Rascal appearing at Knebworth, whilst The Futureheads open in Sunderland.
