Röyksopp unveil new video for ‘Skulls’
Track’s taken from the duo’s final LP, ‘The Inevitable End’.
‘Skulls’ is the pitch-black centrepiece of Röyksopp’s final ever album ‘The Inevitable End’. Skeletal and nourish from the off, it’s a deadly reminder that even if they’re giving old-fashioned LP releases a break, the Norwegian duo are in rude form and they’re guaranteed to stick around.
A new video for ‘Skulls’ has emerged, with Stian Andersen in the director’s chair. The clip is said to “follow the ominous journey of Svein and Torbjørn with friends and 83 year-old Adolf into dark woods and dark places.”
As it plays out, the video takes on a terrifying Blair Witch Project vibe, eased only slightly by the rare appearance of both producers.
‘The Inevitable End’ is out now.
