Politicians fist-fight in Run the Jewels and DJ Shadow’s new ‘Nobody Speak’ video

Run the Jewels’ ‘Nobody Speak’ collaboration with DJ Shadow - a darkly comic, fast- attacking song that tackles violence in America - comes at a truly terrifying time where a toupee-wearing hatemonger (named after a gaseous bowel movement) is one of two candidates for U.S. presidency.

Accordingly, the new ‘Nobody Speak’ video takes a satirical spin on world chaos, showing a shambolic room full of politicians brawling almost to the death. A piglet runs riot across the debating room, and a dove tellingly flees for its life. There’s almost a stabbing with an American flag. There’s lots going on here, basically.

“We wanted to make a positive, life-affirming video that captures politicians at their election-year best,” claims DJ Shadow, tongue in cheek, in the video’s description. “We got this instead.”

Killer Mike added: “”It’s such a dope video. It’s what I really wish Trump and Hillary would just do and get it over with…And even in that fight I think Hillary would win - and that’s not an endorsement.”
