Samantha Urbani unveils new track ‘Hints & Implications’
She’s also given more details about her EP ‘Policies of Power’.
Late last month, former Friends vocalist Samantha Urbani returned with a brand new track, ‘Go Deeper’, a song about the necessity of visibility and accountability. Now, she’s shared a brand new cut, ‘Hints & Implications’, another slice of gut-punching, guitar-driven power-pop.
Alongside the tune, Samantha has also lifted the lid on some details of her upcoming EP ‘Policies of Power’. It’s out on 18th August, is five tracks long and as well as her two recent cuts, it’s also set to include an older number, ‘1 2 3 4’ as well as ‘U Know I Know’.
As reported by Stereogum, Samantha said of the EP: “At its core its about the ontology of truth – whether interpersonal communication/”honesty” is even possible, considering the subjectivity of our individual reality-perception, but surface level its really about that breaking point where you stop trying with someone when you can’t even get a motherfuckin text back”.
