Savages’ ESYA shares video for ‘Blue Orchid’
It’s from Ayşe Hassan’s new EP ‘Absurdity of ATCG (II) - Emergent Form’.
With new EP ‘Absurdity of ATCG (II) - Emergent Form’ released today (15th November), Savages’ Ayşe Hassan - aka ESYA - has shared a video for track ‘Blue Orchid’.
“This EP is about becoming the next version of yourself, about engaging ‘in the process of coming into being or becoming prominent”, says Ayşe . “Transgressing comfort zones by experimenting with the complex and contradictory ideas that can exist within one person and the journey of overcoming the things that impact us from becoming the person we want to be. ATCG refers to the building blocks in human DNA, that set the foundations of what we will be before we take our first breath along with the absurdity we encounter in the life / society we are born into. The intention is to be honest, abrasive and direct, confronting the things we fear the most.”
