New album ‘Adore Life’ and its incredible latest single ‘Adore’ might showcase Savages at their most powerful, but they’re still a sucker for the fluffier side of life, as a new interview between the band and Josh Homme has revealed. The Queens Of The Stone Age frontman invited Savages aboard The Alligator Hour, his weekly Beats 1 show, to discuss everything from Savages’ best impressions of cats, to a foolhardy attempt to adopt a dog. No stories about alligators, though, despite the name. They also chatted Bo Ningen - namely, their collaboration with the Japanese band, ‘CC’. Apparently, it’s a reference to Crystal Castles, which is nice. Listen back to the show here. Savages’ new album ‘Adore Life’ is reviewed in the latest issue of DIY, ahead of its release next week (January 22nd) via Matador. We went in the studio with Savages as they recorded it, and caught them more recently at a fiery, breath-taking London headline show.
