Savages perform ‘The Answer’ and ‘Adore’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live

With ‘The Answer’, ’T.I.W.Y.G.’ and ‘Adore’, Savages have already made their point clear - new album ‘Adore Life’ is a step up like few others. With its release fast approaching (it’s out tomorrow - 22nd January), the band took to Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform two of the above singles. Cramming their incomparable live show onto a tiny, strobe-packed stage, it’s a ferocious example of how to do ‘these sort of things’ properly. ‘The Answer’ soars and stabs, but with ‘Adore’ they surely shivered the spines of every one of Kimmel’s viewers. We recently caught Savages at a year-ending London show which firmly cemented their place at the top, after heading in the studio with the group while they recorded the new record. “It’s funny and it’s going to sound ridiculously obvious, but we set out to write a record,” drummer Fay Milton told us earlier this year.
