Sean Nicholas Savage revels in the darkness in his ‘Suburban Nights’ video

‘Other Death’, Sean Nicholas Savage’s latest record, presented a singer-songwriter finally in full control of every modicum of his artistic vision. Every note wrapped up in a passionate swirl of emotion, Savage is now stepping out - his new ‘Suburban Nights’ video, premiering below on DIY, is directed by Sean himself as he seeks to seize control of every outlet for his art.

Dripping in gothic imagery, it’s an imposing view. Pairing celestial backdrops with dark, existential statements as Sean himself plays a mime-esque figure, it’s striking from the first frame; the perfect visual accompaniment to ‘Other Death”s individuality.
