Man Duo and Sean Nicolas Savage team up on ‘The Middle’

In late June, the duo of Jaakko Eino Kalevi and Long-Sam announced that they’d be releasing an new album under the name Man Duo, ‘Orbit’. Jaakko said of the collaboration: “We’re more professional now but still have the spirit of amateurs”. ‘Amateurs de Vérité’ indeed.

With ‘Orbit’ set to land on 16th August via Kaya Kaya, the pair have shared new track ‘The Middle’, which, funnily enough, doesn’t actually come in the middle of the album. On it, they’ve teamed up with cult singer and Canadian singer-songwriter Sean Nicolas Savage to weave a slow-burning meditation on both the personal and the political. Jaakko says of the track: “We worked on this song for quite a long time but eventually what really made it work was Sean’s vocals. Took some time to realise that”.
