Sia unveils ‘Alive’ lyric video
Vandalism abounds in the moody new clip.
Originally written for that Adele album that’s now creeping out of the woodwork, Sia’s ‘Alive’ is a sky-scraping slice of powerful pop. Contrastingly, a newly unveiled lyric video sees the faceless star skulk about in a gloomy surround.
The clip sees an army of masked Sias take to the streets, spraying the track’s empowering lyrics all over a drab cityscape. Watch it below.
‘Alive’ is the lead single from Sia’s upcoming album ‘This Is Acting’, a collection of songs that the prolific pop-star originally wrote with other artists in mind. In the past, Sia wrote ‘Diamonds’ for Rihanna, ‘Pretty Hurts’ for Rihanna and ‘Radioactive’ for Rita Ora, among others.
‘Alive’ was co-written by Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr., and Sia recently confirmed that she’s been working with FKA Twigs. While ‘Alive’ may not have made the cut, one of Sia’s tracks does apparently appear on that Adele record.
