Sinkane gets ready for impact in ‘Telephone’ video

If you dread the alarm clock going off each day, then perhaps all you need is to make your morning routine just a little bit more funk-filled. Sinkane can help with that.

In the video for ‘Telephone’ – the new number from his upcoming album ‘Life & Livin’ It’ – he’s enlisted friend and ballet dancer Kelly Nakamura. She’s constantly getting ready for the day ahead in her neon-lit apartment (interesting style choice there) and her actions are caught in just one continuous take.

It all starts off quite normally, but each time she wakes up in the morning and picks up the phone, she injects even more energy into her dance routines until she’s jumping on the bed and twirling across the floor. Yep, that’ll wake you up. Oh, and Sinkane is pulling a few shapes of his own as well from behind the screens Kelly’s got scattered around her flat. Her electricity bill must be terrible.

Sinkane has also announced a handful of UK tour dates taking place in March. Kicking off in Birmingham on 23rd March, he heads to Leeds and Manchester before wrapping up in London on the 29th.
