Sivu streams debut album ‘Something On High’ in full

James Page’s first work picked up a four star review from DIY.

James Page aka Sivu is streaming his debut album ‘Something On High’ in full ahead of its 13th October release on Atlantic.

Produced by Alt-J desk-man Charlie Andrew, it features previously unveiled tracks ‘Better Man Than He’, ‘Bodies’ and ‘Miracle (Human Error)’, balancing the line between heartfelt songwriting and bright-eyed invention.

DIY’s Charlie Mock gave the record four stars, saying: “There’s something about this album that sucks you in. One minute, you’re a sceptical bastard moaning about singer songwriters and how really, they can’t do anything new, the next you’re swaying around the room with your eyes closed and your arms wide like a convert that’s just experienced awakening. It’s a beautiful record and there is no way around it.”
