Sky Ferreira and Julee Cruise perform Twin Peaks song ‘Falling’ in L.A.
They played as part of David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption.
Over the weekend, Twin Peaks director David Lynch hosted his Festival of Disruption in L.A, and as part of the event, his long-time musical collaborator Angelo Badalamenti hosted a takeover at the Ace Hotel.
In the original Twin Peaks series, dream-pop musician Julee Cruise appears several times as a guest to sing ‘Falling’. As well as being a version of Badalamenti’s instrumental theme tune for the cult telly show, it also features on her debut album ‘Floating into the Night’.
At Badalamenti’s showcase, Julee Cruise performed ‘Falling’ again, this time with the help of Sky Ferreira. Sky is set to star in the 2017 Twin Peaks reboot, and has previously performed at events in support of the David Lynch Foundation.
