Sky Ferreira previews ‘Guardian’ single

Sky Ferreira has confirmed that a new release, ‘Guardian’, will be coming out this summer.

The single was announced via an Instagram post yesterday, and it’s set to be the first take from second album ‘Masochism’. The follow-up to 2013’s ‘Night Time, My Time’ is expected to come out later this year, although Sky’s also busy with movie roles and her own self-directed film. There’s no word on if ‘Guardian’ will be released alongside, or as part of this film, but the track’s set to be produced by Ariel Rechtshaid.

Ferreira has also been working with Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie on new material.
