Sky Ferreira confirms new album title
‘Masochism’ is out later this year, following ‘Night Time, My Time’.
Sky Ferreira has confirmed the title for her forthcoming, second album: ‘Masochism’.
The follow-up to ‘Night Time, My Time’ is due out later this year, and Sky announced the title in a Twitter conversation with MuuMuse, after he digged out a couple of clues from social media (Sky said the new title began with ‘M’, and her Instagram bio then read “MASOCHISM”).
Ferreira recently revealed that Ariel Rechtstaid and Justin Raisen were down to reprise their production roles and that she had been busy writing alongside Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie. The ‘Everything is Embarrassing’ singer is still in talks with renowned French DJ Gesaffelstein over a proposed collaboration.
Last year, Ferreira showcased a new track called ‘Guardian’, but nothing else has emerged from the record. She’s down to play a couple of film roles later this year, too.
