Spector unveil new track ‘Don’t Make Me Try’
The song comes produced by Dev Hynes and is set to feature on their forthcoming album.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard any music from them, but now the silence is over. Spector have unveiled a new track, which looks set to be the first to feature on their forthcoming second album.
Their latest ditty, ‘Don’t Make Me Try’, comes complete with production by Dev Hynes and gives us an initial taste of what to expect from the London group’s second full-length, which is still yet to be announced.
‘Don’t Make Me Try’ is a bittersweet love song, which finds Spector at their most whimsical as lead singer Fred Macpherson pleads to a lover not to upset him in front of his bros.
While news of the band’s forthcoming album - the follow-up to their 2012 debut ‘Enjoy It While It Lasts’ - is still yet to be confirmed, you can get all the Spector kicks you require, by picking up a copy of their 2015 calendar. D’awwh.
