Spiritualized Cancel Standon Calling Set

Standon Calling festival organisers have announced that their Saturday night headliners, Spiritualized, have been forced to pull out of the event, due to Jason Pierce’s ongoing medical issues.

‘“[It’s] left us with no choice but to cancel following advice from his medical team. We have done everything possible to try and do these shows but it recently became apparent that Jason would not be able to perform,” reads the band’s statement. “We apologise to everyone who is affected and hope they realise that cancellation was the only unavoidable option given the medical circumstances.”

Whilst Spiritualized Standon Calling replacement has yet to be announced, the band remain confident that their October dates will be unaffected.

Standon Calling takes place from 12th - 14th August at Standon Lordship, Hertfordshire.
