Spiritualized’s new album to be produced by Killing Joke member

A post on Killing Joke’s Facebook this afternoon has confirmed that Spiritualized are currently recording a new album. The album will be produced by Killing Joke bassist and founder Martin ‘Youth’ Glover, who has previously produced records for The Verve and Marilyn Manson.
The statement on Killing Joke’s Facebook page is as follows:
“Very pleased to announce that Youth will be in the producer seat for the new Spiritualized record. Jason Spaceman has started recording in London at Youth’s studio and will complete the recordings in Spain”
The new record will be the first material that Jason Pierce has released since 2012’s Sweet Heart Sweet Light. The announcement was later confirmed on the Spiritualized Facebook page as well as mentioning a performance at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, Georgia this May.
