Spoon hide in the shadows in their ‘I Ain’t The One’ video
The ‘Hot Thoughts’ slow-burner has a moody new clip.
It’s been six months – yes, half a year – since Spoon released their latest album ‘Hot Thoughts’.
Since then they’ve been playing festivals and touring, and back in July they took ‘Can I Sit Next To You’ to Colbert. Now they’ve got a video for one the simmering slow-burner ‘I Ain’t The One’. Directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, who have also worked on the 2014 documentary about Nick Cave, ’20,000 Days On Earth’.
In it, the band stalk in the shadows while performing the song, with just the faintest glimmers of projections lighting them (and they may or may not be trapped under an escalator).
Later this month (20th October), the band are also set to release a 10 year anniversary reissue of their album ‘Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga’.
