Spring King, Ben Khan & more receive PRS Momentum funding
Spring King say they’ll be using the money to record an album.
Spring King and Ben Khan lead the latest wave of new artists to receive funding from PRS for Music Foundation’s Momentum fund.
Managed in conjunction with Arts Council England, the awards grants musicians between £5,000 to £15,000 to help with tours, recording and development. This latest grant it Spotify-affiliated, meaning acts will be given bigger exposure on the streaming giant.
Taking to Facebook, Spring King say PRS have “granted us enough money to now record the album, stay on the road and keep doing what we love.”
The full list of acts to receive funding:
Spring King, Bill Ryder-Jones, Little Simz, YUNGEN, Ben Khan, FARAO, Francis Lung, Kate Simko & London Electric Orchestra, Mo Kolours, Mr Bigz, Silvastone, Telegram, Victories at Sea, The Xcerts, XO.
