Spring King follow a really awkward first date in their ‘City’ video

Blimmin’ ages ago, Spring King released a video for their single ‘City’, and it featured balaclavas, toy guns and ‘zines. But why stop at one video when you can have two?

Yep, ‘City’ has a brand new clip directed by Jack Whiteley, and if you’ve ever wanted to see an even more awkward version of First Dates then you’ve come to the right place. Taking part in a TV show called Euro Lover (a follow-up to their equally batty ‘Detroit’ video), a terribly mismatched couple go on a date to the funfair, where they take a spin on some rides and go rollerblading.

It all builds up to a massive explosion of glitter and cheerleaders, because of course! Oh, and there’s also a twist at the end, but we won’t spoil it…
