Spring King unveil new ‘Demons’ video
Clip arrives ahead of the DIY London all-dayer, plus CMJ dates.
Spring King’s deranged take on garage rock just got even weirder. Their new video for ‘Demons’ brings together strange characters, like an alleyway-lurking giant, a sweating man on a treadmill, an exotic dancer, a wannabe cheerleader and a dubious-looking puppeteer.
How this links into “letting go of the demons,” as Tarek Musa sings, is anyone’s guess. Clearly the Manchester band have a lot to get off their chest, and it’s being expressed in its purest, most terrifying form.
Needless to say, none of the people involved in the video have particularly happy endings.
Spring King’s next UK date is at DIY’s London all-dayer at The Laundry, 1st November. Get tickets here.
They’re also due in New York for CMJ - catch them at Rough Trade (21st & 23rd) and Pianos (22nd)
